The Hudson Valley Brewers finished the season a disappointing 7-18. Injuries and player commitment was the two key reasons for their first season debacle. Well the Brewers have decided to make some major changes to compete in the league and there is nothing like a fresh start than a new team name. The Brewers have switched to the Hudson Valley Giants. Although the Brewers have been around these local leagues for about 13 years, a new direction is much over due. Along with the new name the Giants look to make some major roster changes. Some changes will come from players within the league and some major help from some outside guys. The Giants will surely do their best to make a playoff run in their second season in the league but first with the new look. A photo of the new uniforms will be posted soon. Good Luck Giants, lets show the league we belong.
