The upstart kingston-cornwall royals joined hvnaba in march 2023, and after a rough start finished our first season competitively, winning a few games and giving a few perennial playoff teams a run for their money.  

2024 saw a few roster changes, and a repeat of our rough start to 2023. by june, the team turned things around and went 6-4 down the stretch, narrowly missing the playoffs in our final at-bat of the season.  

In 2025, under leadership of head coach ken mccracken and newly appointed captain brian dawson, the royals finished 3rd in the league with a record of 13-5. this year saw significant improvement in defensive play, more aggressive baserunning and some serious clutch hitting from the middle of the lineup.  despite earning the 3 seed, the boys were bounced in the first round by the padres, who got hot in the second half of the season.  nonetheless, the royals achieved pre-season goal to make the playoffs.  

hungrier than ever, the royals return an intact lineup and expect to build upon last season's successes - playing in dutchess stadium in mid september is the goal.   let's go royals!!
