🗽 From the Manager to the Westchester Liberty Players 🗽
As our season came to a close last night with a playoff loss, I want everyone to keep your heads held high and recognize that, as a team, we were successful in so many ways as a first-year expansion team.
I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude and thank all of the Liberty players—past and present—as well as the emergency players who stepped up and contributed to the success of our team. Every one of you played a part in helping us build something special.
I also want to give a special thank-you to Assistant Coach Ryan for his help, knowledge, guidance, and advice throughout the season. We made a great team, and I truly appreciate all of your support and everything you brought to the Liberty.
As a first-year expansion team entering the HVNABA Westchester Division AA, we knew this season would present challenges. We faced different levels of experience and skill, but we embraced those challenges and continued to compete, grow, and improve together. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to one another, we were able to make a name for ourselves in the division.
You should all be proud of what you accomplished this season. I know I am proud of each and every one of you. From the players who were with us from day one to those who joined us along the way, everyone contributed to making this team what it is today.
Although the season has come to an end, this is just the beginning. Use this time off to work on yourselves, sharpen your skills, and focus on your individual baseball goals as we look ahead to the 2027 season. Continue to grow, stay motivated, and come back ready to build on everything we accomplished together.
Until then, stay safe, enjoy your time off, and take some well-deserved rest. You have all earned it.
Thank you for believing in the Liberty, competing for the Liberty, and representing the Liberty.
